Ok this is hard to digest, let alone write about. Just before the Pandemic we made a small set of films for TBWA and Beco. They were a wonderful experience. Then during the height of lockdown, Chris Fowles worked with McCann Craft to make a series of films for XBox Generations. Two very socially minded campaigns that caught our imaginations and chimed with audiences everywhere.
What we never expected is that both these campaigns have since continued to win awards across not just the UK but Worldwide. And not just over their first year but somehow the awards have continued to roll in - from Creative Circle's Gold of Golds and Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Beco to a never-ending-list of awards for XBox. Latest to this list is Gold at The One Show and a Webby for XBox, McCanns, and Chris.
On a bitter note, the pandemic meant that the Charity behind Beco, who supported all the blind and disabled staff with full-time employment has now shut its doors. We are truly gutted at this outcome...
