Director Chris Fowles has teamed up with McCann London on the new Xbox campaign. The first of a series of films telling the story of one grandparent isolating from his family, and how he re-connected through gaming with his grandson, learning something new together.

Chris said, " The film is, at its core, a social experiment. To see if two generations, separated by more than 50 years, can use gaming to become better connected. Whether the hours of playing would allow them to learn new things about each other, and spark a desire to spend more time together.

Although its not a film about the pandemic the story is one about connection over distance and using technology to communicate with those you love. The first time I read the story it felt incredibly contemporary and emotional. I knew it’d be something quite special."
